This Mezcal Old Fashioned was a bit of a departure from my usual cocktail preferences, but I’m glad I tried it. The smoky flavor of the mezcal was definitely noticeable, but it was balanced out nicely by the sweetness of the agave syrup. The bitters added a subtle spice to the drink, rounding out the flavor profile. While it’s not a drink I would order every time, I appreciated the unique twist on a classic cocktail.
